On behalf of ITAB Interiors, we are back at the Old Ship in Brighton to repair a railing with railheads that are no longer manufactured. In the past we have declined this type of work in the main due to the difficulties in sourcing replacement railheads.
For the first time we are having a supplier copy and manufacture the railheads and if successful we will be in a position to repeat this type of work again!

In preparation for our first supplier based in Southampton, we are presenting to the Hampshire Building Control Managers Forum next month. Heads of Building Control or their representatives will be in attendance and any questions about the product will be put to myself and Mr Robert Struthers of RID Struthers, Structural Engineers of Brighton. 
This is an excellent opportunity to present to all of the different Hampshire Authorities and explain how the Connect-A-Beam LABC System Approval will affect them.
Although this will be our inaugural presentation to heads of Building Control, we expect to repeat to other Authorities in the not too distant future!

Today it is Brian's birthday. He tells us he is 49, but this is unconfirmed.
